老师:Hello, everyone. Welcome to my class. Today we are going to talk about school clubs. In this lesson, you will practice predicting and listening through natural conversations about clubs and club activities. Make a conversation on how to choose a suitable clap by using the expressions Learned from the conversations.

老师:Now let's get started. You have already started your senior high school life. I wonder if you have joined any school club. Yes, sell. Can you name some clubs in your school? Football Club? Music Club? Okay. What do you do in this class? Play football, enjoy music, sing songs. Great. Look at the pictures. What clubs are they in?

老师:The girl loves dancing. She is in the ballet club. The students are interested in plants and animals, so they are in the Nature club. The boy prefers helping others, so he is in the volunteer club. The girls enjoy discussing different questions, so they are in the debate club. You see, different people have different interests, so they can join different clubs.

老师:Now we are going to listen to two conversations. Before you listen, you can read the questions and choices. It will help you to predict what you will hear. Now let's turn to page twelve. 学生:We don't agree with Team A. Our answer is yes. Teenagers can date if they want. It is quite natural for a teenager at that age to feel he or she like somebody. We think it's possible for teenagers to date and study at the same time.

  学生:Team A.

老师:Not sure of the answer. Don't worry, we are going to listen to conversation 1 again.

学生:If you couldn't hear the first one, it means you're not a dog. Dogs can hear very high frequency sounds, but people can't. And if you could hear the second one, you're younger than 25.

  学生:Why is that?
