  老师:Welcome to the online class. Today we are going to learn Book 3, Unit 5. What an adventure. This period. We are going to deal with the first passage, climbing to mulanma, worth the risks. And we are mainly focus on reading. Please turn to page fifty. Here are our learning objectives.   老师:Number two, list the specific information about the reasons of climbing. Number three, summarize the passage. Number four, voice your opinion of adventure. Now you can see a map. Please look at the map and answer the questions. 1St, let's observe the map carefully. The title is the Southeast Ridge route onto Lama. You can find the summit is 8844 meters and 8000 meters above sea level is the death zone. Only 30% as much oxygen as available at sea level. The human body can only stand this height for a few days.

  老师:In the map we can find a base camp and four camps. Please think over the questions. Why do you think the climbers need so many camps along the route? What else do you know about Chumulma?
