免费读2366字2024-07-28

老师:Hello everyone, I'm an English teacher from Liang Xiang High School, affiliated to Beijing Normal University. My English name is Double Tiger. It is my honor to sit here and welcome you to this lesson.

老师:Today we are going to practice listening and speaking using the materials on page 7 of Unit 1. Knowing me, knowing you, Book 3, this is the third period. First of all, let's read the objectives of today's lesson.

老师:By the end of this lesson, students will be able to, number one, get the main ideas of 3 conversations and match them to the pictures. Number two, note down some information and complete the table. Number three, act out the conversation about asking for a favor and refusing politely. Number four, make a similar conversation to improve communication skills. Are you ready? Here we go. Now let's move on to the part of starting out. Read the part of did you know on page 7 and answer the following three questions. Question 1, what is EQ? Question two, which is more important in people's lives, EQ or IQ? Question three, can you give an example of emotional intelligence? Now let's check the answer to question one. EQ is a short form of emotional quotient, or emotional intelligence quotient, which is a measurement of the ability to recognize one's own and other people's emotions. The answer to question two, compared with IQ, people believe that EQ seems more important than IQ in our daily lives. As for the answer to question three, I think you can think of many examples to show that some people have a high level of emotional intelligence. And now you can retell something about EQ with the help of these words below. I will give you an example to follow. EQ is a measurement of the ability to recognize one's own and other people's emotions. It is believed that EQ plays an even more important role, the IQ, in people's lives. Being able to say no politely is one of the features of emotional intelligence. Okay, are you clear?

老师:Now it's your turn to retell what you have just read about EQ according to the keywords on the screen. I'm sure you have done a great job, boys and girls.

老师:Now let's think and share. If one of your friends wants to borrow something that you are not willing to share, how do you say no? Politely. Of course, you can refuse his or her request by saying no directly, but it can hurt the emotions of your friend. As a student with a high level of EQ, you should remember to react like this. Number one, be honest, but also kind. That is to say, you should let your friend know that you don't want to share with him or her, but you'd better express your feelings of regret so that the other would feel comfortable. Number two, give your reasons so that your friend can have a better understanding of your refusal attitude.
