In text 1, Graham said he wasn't awaiting student, he was lazy. In text 2, according to Mr Jackson's, he had heard stories about Graham's bad behavior before he came to his class. His laziness and bad behavior showed that Graham was unwilling to obey rules or complete his tasks at school.
