  老师:communication workshop。下面我们进入第二课时的学习。

  学生:Listen, girls, last lesson. We have read the diary entry about the writer's English learning experience. Do you remember the girl Nancy and her English learning experience? Okay, now let's go over her English learning diary. Let's read the diary and write down your answers.

  学生:Number one, what problems did the writer have 2 years ago? Number two, what about now? How did her experience change? If you can't remember, it doesn't matter. Let's go over the diary entry together. Please read after the recording and then answer the questions.

  学生:My English learning experience two years ago, I was good at reading and writing, but I had a lot of trouble with listening and speaking. The speed of the recording was too fast. I couldn't understand. I spoke very slowly because I wanted to use the perfect words and I didn't want to make any mistakes. I talked to my teacher and she gave me some suggestions for listening. She said, don't try to understand every word. Just try to catch some keywords and try to understand the main idea. For speaking, she said, don't worry about it too much. Just use simple words and sentences and try to make the meaning clear. Soon your speaking will improve. I tried my teacher's suggestions and my listening and speaking improved. Now I'm not so nervous. I speak more and I'm not afraid of making mistakes when I listen. I still don't understand every word, but I don't give up. Thank you, teacher.
