老师：So in the previous reading and thinking lesson, we read an article titled seeing the True North via real Vancouver and the heart of Canada. In the article, we know that Li Daiyu and her cousin Liu Qian went to Canada to visit their cousins in Halifax on the Atlantic coast. Rather than traveled by commercial airline all the way, they decided to fly to Vancouver and then took the train. For both of them, the idea of traveling the whole country by rail was exciting.
老师：Today, we are going to read another article titled seeing the True North via real Toronto and Montreal. So what do you think is the relationship between these two passages, exactly? This article talks about the next leg of their trip. That means after they visited Vancouver and some of the major places in Canada, it continued to explore other cities in Canada. And probably in today's lesson, we will be able to know more about Toronto and Montreal.
老师：Now, let's have a quick recap about the girl's previous trip across Canada. Please observe the map in the Activity 2 on page 45, and then go back to the passage in the reading and thinking part review, and choose the route of the girl's trip across Canada, and then Mark them on the map. You can begin now.
老师：All right, so this started from Vancouver, then they went to Lake Louise, and there they took a coach to Jasper and finish their rest of journey from Edmonton to Toronto. By real, it was indeed a very long distance journey. Then observe the illustrations besides the text. What are the two photos about? Right here? You could see Chinatown and a very quiet old street.
