  学生:意思是望着眼前的风景则作状语。所以通过这两组句子的对比,我们可以发现,过去分词和现在分词在句子中均可作表语和状语。那么当他们在句子中充当同一种成分时又有什么区别?我们一起来分析一下。首先,我们来看一下它们都做表语的这两个句子。第一个句子中, pleased 修饰的是day,意思是感到欣喜的。而 exciting 修饰的是 the thought,意思是令人兴奋的,所以当过去分词和现在分词作状语时,过去分词描述的是情感,意思是感到怎么的。而现在分词描述的是事物,意思是令人怎么怎么的。下面我们再来看一下他们作状语的这两个句子。首先,第一个句子的主语是the。

  学生:主语和动词 sea 之间的关系是被动的,意思是被从火车车窗放到。而第二个句子的主语是they,它和动词 look 之间的关系是主动的,意思是望着美景。所以因为第一个句子中主语与动词之间的关系是被动的,所以用的是过去分词theme。而第二个句子中主语和动词之间的关系是主动的,所以用的是现在分词looking。

  学生:通过这一部分的学习,我们可以了解到,过去分词和现在分词均可以在句子中作表语和作状语。那么当他们做表语时,过去分词常用来描述情感,意思是感到什么什么的。而现在分词则用来描述人物或者地点,意思是令人什么什么的。当他们做状语时,过去分词与逻辑主语之间的关系是被动的,而现在分词与逻辑主语之间的关系则是主动的。
