学生：feature 这个单词，它在这里是特点的意思。 diary 是日记， entry 的常见意思，是进入口，但是在这里并不是这个意思。它指的是日记本里的一条记录。两者合起来， DIARY entry 是一个固定搭配，就是一篇日记的意思。我们今天的第一个学习目标就是在本节课结束时，你将能够总结出英文日记的特点。

老师：now lets get started。 In the previous lessons, we talked a lot about different people's vacations. Here are two questions for you. Question number one, what do people usually do on vacation? Question number two, what activities do you find enjoyable on vacation? For the first question, I believe all of you can think of many different kinds of activities. Here I have prepared some pictures that show common activities that people choose to do on their vacation. Let's look and say the first picture. I guess whenever people talk about vacation, this is their first thought, right? What is this activity? Very good. People usually go to the beach on vacation. Let's look at the second picture. What are these people doing? They are walking. Where are they? There is a mountains. Can you guess what the activity is? Yes, we can say hike in the mountains.
老师：Let's move on to the third picture. This one is pretty obvious, right? Summer camp. I believe many of you have this kind of experience. People might go to summer camp on vacation. How about this picture? Do you recognize this place? What is it? Yes, it is the Palace Museum. It can also be called the Forbidden City, Zijincheng. What does this picture mean? You might not go to the Forbidden City on your vacation, but I guess you might visit some other places of historical interest, right? So here the activity is to visit places of historical interest here.
老师：Places of historical interest. Okay, let's continue. This is the last picture. It's a plane in the air. Obviously, it means people travel to other places by plane on their vacation. Maybe people travel abroad on vacation. These are the 5 pictures we saw just now. I'm sure you can think of many other vacation activities. Now think about this question. What activities do you find enjoyable? Do you like one of these activities or do you have other preferences? For me, I find going to the beach, this one, really enjoyable because it makes me feel relaxed. Every summer, one of the most relaxing and pleasant days for me was to walk along the beach with my family and enjoy the beautiful view there.
