老师:Hello everyone, welcome to your eye project English. Nice to see you today. Let's learn Session d together. It's the last lesson of this topic. How well do you know sessions a to C? Now do the following tasks and check.

First, please look at the picture. What's this? It's a church. Long ago, people call Sunday the holiday. Do you know why we call Sunday the hall?

On that day, people rested and prayed at church. But why does a weekend have two days? Now let's read the passage together and then we will know the reason. Please complete the passage with the correct expressions on page 78. Can you give me the answers? Okay, let's check it. See a, D, B.

老师:A short history of the weekend. Before 180, many people spent one day a week at church. In England, people called it a holiday. On that day, they rested and prayed. In the early ATO s, Sunday was the holiday. However, many workers played games and had a fun on that day, and then they felt too tired to work. On Monday mornings in the USA, workers call them Blue Mondays. To solve the problem of blue Mondays, the English made a Saturday afternoon a holiday. In 80,74, at 1:00, everyone stop to working. This was the beginning of the idea of the weekend in England. By 90,30, most American offices were closed on Saturday afternoons. By 1940, offices and factories in the USA were closed all day on Saturdays, and the two day weekend began.

I will give you some helpful sentences. Try to match them. 1 before 18,0, people rested and prayed on the holiday. 2. Any early ATO, many workers play the games on Sundays and then they didn't go to work on Monday. 3. In 80,74 English workers stopped working at 1:00 on Saturday afternoons. Oh, by 1930, most American workers didn't work on Saturday afternoons. 5. After 1940, American workers had a two day weekend.

one two two 意为太,以至于不能。

老师:she is too young to go to school。

老师:拓展一, too 可以和 so that not 进行转换。

老师:she is so young that she cant go to school。

老师:等于 she is too young to go to school。 stop to do something

Let's stop working and have a rest.

lets stop to work 让我们停下来去工作。

老师:you cant stop people from saying what they think。

one at the beginning of 在什么的开始开端。

老师:We will have a class meeting at
