  老师:Now. Let's look at this picture. Do you have any questions to ask them? Who are you? Where are you? What are you doing? Why are you looking at the little boy with smile? Can you complete the sentences? Where are you going? What do you want to buy? Who is it for? What will he say? Now, let's watch and try to answer these questions.

  学生:Intonation. Where are you going to the Sweet Shop? What do you want to buy a lollipop? Who is it for? The boy over there. What will he say? It doesn't matter.

  老师:Now let's try to answer these questions. Where are you going? To the sweet shop? What do you want to buy? A lollipop? Who is it for? The boy over there? What will he say? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter means maybe the boy will say thank you, you are so kind. But the man and the woman don't mind what he says. It doesn't matter what the little boy says. They only want to buy a lollipop for him.

  老师:And these questions are special questions. We use the falling tone when we read special questions. Do you know what kind of questions are special questions? If the question begins with W, H, for example, what, who, why, where and how, it is a special question. When we read these questions, we should use the falling tone.
