老师:Good morning everyone. Welcome to my lesson here today. We're going to move on to a new section, Integrated Skills Lesson 1. Our module, three union one. Still remember the topic of our whole unit. That will be nature in the balance. That's it.

老师:And in the reading section, we have already really read a passage about protecting the rainforest. And in this section, we're going to discuss about protecting the animals. Have a look about the title of our integrated lessons. Yes, that's calling for the Protection of animals. Look at the title. We can do some prediction in our mind. Firstly, animals need Protection. So what happened to them and who is responsible for that? And who should take the responsibility of animal Protection? And most importantly, how can we solve that part and what we can do to protect those animals? So we have so many questions in our mind. How can we solve that problem?

老师:Now, in this lesson, we're going to have a lot of resources to help us. Firstly, we are going to read a passer, and then we're going to watch a video. And lastly, we're going to talk with those very important students in our a class. And No. 1 now, I need all of you to look at the passage in your textbook title, human activities cause increasing harm to the animals. So after you read the password, there are two question in your textbook for you to answer. Focus on the title, the word harm. I give you several minutes for you to read. Okay, after you read the passage, we know that human activities cause a lot of harms.

老师:Type of homes we have here. Yes, we have two type of harm. The first one is called direct harm and the other one is indirect harm. Direct harm of the human actor, this that is human beings are, is hunting and fishing. So in the textbook we have the question, what are those reasons for people to hunt animals? Yes, we have three reasons. No. 1, for food and also for fashion and for fun. Talking about the indirect harms, there are two reasons also. The first one, people are destroying those habitats when we are building our farms and our factories. Without the habitats, the animals are lacking food and also they have no place to live. And the second one will be the human activities are causing a lot of pollution to our environment, the water environment pollution and the air pollution and also light pollution. So the animals are really difficult to live in a world with so many pollution. So you can see a lot of pictures about the animals dying, eating the human wastes. These are about the reading part. So we can get a lot of information about how to protect, why we are going to protect those animals. And the second part, we're going to watch a video about how to protect the human, the animal.

学生:Unit 1, nature in the balance, Integra
