老师：I believe that the world is what you think it is. Now, please open your textbook and turn to page 74 here. The title for this unit is, I believe that the world is what you think it is. What does it mean? Please look at this picture. Do you think it's 4 or half empty? Different people may give different answers because people see the world in different ways.
老师：由于人们看世界的角度不同，对同一件事情可能会做出不同的解读。有的人认为途中只剩半杯水了，而有的人却会说还剩半杯水，就像单元标题中所说的那样。

老师：but who is this eye in the title？
老师：标题中的 i 是谁？
老师：what makes i think so？
老师：是什么使我有这样的看法。
老师：We are going to read a passage and find out. Lockdown, page 74, and you will see the picture of two girls. Now, let's look at the title of the passage and see what information we can get from the title.
老师：我们再来看看标题能给我们提供一些什么信息。

老师：文章讲到了一个美丽的笑容， hold smile is it 是谁的笑容？
老师：who wrote this passage？
老师：这篇文章又是谁写的？ here we see the expression by 张蓓。这里的 by 是 written by 的意思，也就是说作者的名字叫张蓓。
老师：before we actually read the story though we should know that when we read a story， we should focus on five key elements。
老师：我们在读叙事或者说故事类文体时，要关注文章中的 5 个要素， who one where what and why theyre called w h questions。也就是我们中文所说的时间、地点、人物、事件和原因。能否在读完一个故事后，转述出这 5 个要素，是检测我们是否读懂了这个故事的重要途径。
