  老师:Day 2, stay away from windows and heavy furniture. Let's get started. Look at the picture. Can you think of what we Learned in using one last class? We talked about how to give first aid to the people who are hurt in the accident. For example, we can cover the boy with a coat to make sure he is warm before doctors arrive.

  老师:This class we are going to talk about how to protect ourselves from danger if an earthquake happens. Let's discuss what may happen in an earthquake. Buildings may collapse. Street lights may fall down. Trees may fall down, too. There may be big cracks in the road. Rocks may fall for mountains. A tsunami may happen. What can we do to protect ourselves?

  老师:Let's look at some pictures and see whether the people in these pictures are doing the right things to keep themselves safe in an earthquake. Look at this picture. Where is a boy? He's hiding under the table. Is he close to the window? No, he is away from the window. Look at this picture. What are these people doing? They are trying to get out of the building.

  老师:3 people are going down the stairs. A woman is trying to use a lift. Lift is sure DNT. Read after me. Lift, lift. Look at this picture. What are these people doing? They're running away from the building and they are trying to stay away from the street light and power lines. Powerlines is sure read after me. Power lines, power lines. Look at this picture. Where are the people? They are in a bus. Are they trying to get off the bus? No, they are staying in the bus.

  老师:Do you think the people in these pictures are doing the right things to keep themselves safe in the earthquake? Let's read a passage and decide. Please turn to page 98. Let's raise a passage together with the recording.

  学生:What to do in an earthquake. Earthquakes always happen suddenly, so it is difficult to warn people about them. Usually people have little or no idea about what to do during an earthquake. So here is some advice inside 1. Do not jump out of high buildings.

  学生:2. Hide under a table. Stay away from windows and heavy furniture. Keep clear of fires. 3. Leave the building quickly when the ground stop shaking but do not use the lift. 4. Keep calm, especially when you are with other people. Be brave and be helpful. Outside. 1. Move away from buildings because parts of a building may fall on you. 2. Do not stand near street lights or under power lines. 3. Stay away from bridges and trees. If you are in a bus or car, stay in it. 4. In the mountains, be careful of falling rocks. 5. On a beach, run away from the sea and move quickly to higher ground. In short, follow what you Learned in school. You can be safe and you can also help save others.
