  老师:同学们,大家好,我是来自首都师范大学附属评论员中学分校的英语教师俞静洁。很高兴今天和大家一起共同学习北师大英语初二下册第2单元。

老师:You need to communication workshop. It's nice to see you again. This license is the last license in Unit 2. So do you remember what we Learned in this unit?

老师:First, let's review each lesson in this unit. In Lesson 4, we Learned animal talk. In this lesson, we talked about how animals communicate. They can communicate by smell and the dogs are famous for this. Animals can also use sound to communicate, such as frogs, insects, whale and elephants. Animals always use body language to communicate as well. For example, when a kite pulls his ears spike, it is a bit mad. Okay, so after learning Lesson 4, I think most of us know more about how animals can communicate, right? What about meeting people?

老师:Now let's move on to Lesson 5. In Lesson 5, we talk about how we welcome the students from England. There are lots of things we can do. There are also some things that we shouldn't do. Do you still remember what can we do to welcome foreign students? We can shake hands, but it is a bit too formal. We can smile and say hello to them. It is a friendly way, right? What else can we do? Yes, we can talk about the sports, whether music and food. These are good ideas. Do you think so? Yes. And do you still remember what we shouldn't do? We shouldn't laugh at their Chinese mistakes, because they can only say a few things in Chinese, and we shouldn't ask the teacher about his or her age because it is not very polite. After learning Lesson 5, we know how to communicate with foreigners in a polite way.

老师:With the development of the technology, there are also some new communication ways appeared, just like texting message, it makes us become texting generation. In Lesson 6, we talk about the texting generation. Do you remember what we talk about in this lesson? We mainly talked about some ideas. Number one, teenagers text more than adults and girls text more than boys. Number two, texting has been more and more popular since 1992. Number three, texting has some advantages. However, texting can cause some problems. At last, no matter you love it or hate it, texting is certainly here to stay. Actually, our life is being changed by lots of communication tools.

老师:Now let's look at these name cards from 1980 to 2020. In 1980, we only find a d d. On the name card. Do you know what a d d. Stands for? Yes, it stands for address. It means teacher. So with address, you can communicate with Simon by writing letters or finding postcards. And in 1998, people not only use address, but also use TEL. And do you know what teal means? Good. It means telephone. Till now, in 2020, besides address and telephone, we can use MP. It stands for mobile phone, it means Yidong Dianhua. And we can also use email
