15 Unit3 Fascinating Parks Video Time

免费读2360字2024-07-26

老师:Hello everyone. Welcome to my English class. Today we will go on talking about fascinating parks through watching a video. In this class, you will first collect information about bioblets. Second, introduce bioblets and give your opinions of it. Third, talk about how to explore biodiversity in your neighborhood.

老师:Let's get started. Please look at this photo first. What do you see in this photo? Who are there? Where are they? What are they doing? Can you describe it in your own words? Yes, what an exact description.

老师:From this photo, we can see that two people with backpacks are bending over a plant in the wild. They seem to be studying the plant or trying to collect it.

老师:After seeing the photo, let's read the title together. Buyer blitz, life in 24 hours. Do you know what a buyer blitz is according to the title? Have a guess. It's okay if you don't have the right answer. We all know the word biology means the scientific study of living things. So bio means living things. Both living things and life appear in the title. So buyer blitz may be closely related to life or living things. But what the splits mean, blitz means a quick, energetic effort to do something and in 24 hours, maybe a time limit. And by the way, Buyer Blitz is held in the Rock Creek Park, which runs through Washington, DC. So buyer blitz may be an activity to save living things in a park. You must try hard and be quick, because you have only 24 hours to do it.

老师:Here are six photos from No. 1 to number six. They are all taken from the video. So would you please match the photos with the phrases in the box. You can find this activity on page 36 of your textbook and you may tend to it. Let's see what are the phrases in the box? Altogether there are six. They are park ranger people wearing orange vests, a person holding a frog, a woman showing how to use a butterfly net, an insect trying to escape a petri dish, a man taking photos.

老师:Here are the right choices. Have you got it right? Photo 1 is B, people wearing orange vests. Photo 2 is a park ranger. Photo 3 is f, a man taking photos. Photo 4 is d, a woman showing how to use a butterfly net. Photo 5 is E, an insect trying to escape a patridish. Photo 6 is C, a person holding a flock. Have you noticed what exactly is going on in each photo? You can take a closer look at these photos to find out.

老师:Now, please use the phrases in the box to help you give a more detailed description of these photos. Let's start from photo 1. What do you see in this photo?

老师:Yes, we can see that a woman is standing outside in a natural area wearing an orange vest, saying Violet. She seems to be a volunteer. What's in the second photo? Oh, yes, we can see a park ranger is riding a horse. He seems to be wearing a uniform.

  老师:Ho
